didn't ride to work today

and that's unusual because I always ride to work.

it's time for some new stuff and I may be out of the wind for about a month.
my bike has some defered maintenance and needs;

coolant,oil,brake,clutch,fork,final drive fluids changed
wheel bearings,dampners,u joint,tires, oil filter replaced

and a few other sundry details I need to think about first.

What ?! Thats a days worth of work ,and, to be done on a rainy day.

Ya know, most of those items can be done day by day, no sense in doing them all at once and not riding for an extended period of time is there?  I've been meaning to get progressive front springs and new oil in front shocks but have put it off but never has been changed ever in 30K miles and thinking it needs to get done to firm up the front end.

front tire is getting pretty thin so I need to get that done at least.

I was looking to do it all at once in the heat of summer, it's been raining a lot in the mornings I don't look forward to sloshing around work.

a days worht of work? not at the rate I plod around

I used to say ' well I can get this done and that done and maybe that dione too.' now it's 'well I'll get this done, take a break see what's going on in the valk forum'
