Celebrities boycotting Florida-question - UPDATE -Ted Nugent responds

stevie wonder started it and then it was reported that others were joining him that they weren't going to perform in Florida untill the "stand your ground" laws was repealed.

Nor were they going to perform in any other state that had this law.

My question: where can I go to make sure these celebrities know that Texas ALSO has stand your ground and they need to STAY AWAY from Texas too??!!??

Besides wonder, the list I saw was a bunch of "has beens" and "wanna bees" anyway!

In other words, no skin off my teeth!!

If they are trying to use their status to change this law, or any as far as that goes, IMO they can just stay away!!

I only wish Iowa had a stand your ground law, as it is now we need to retreat until cornered.

Kinda reminds me of the recent boycott against Chick-Fil-A.

They saw a huge increase in sales and won many people over as customers who might not otherwise even tried the place.

Stand Your Ground is way more important than having a few celebs make a feeble attempt at garnering support for a repeal.

Stand your ground and Castle are almost synonymous. Basically, it states that if someone is doing something that would justify your use of deadly force to stop it, you may apply deadly force without having to run away first.

In other words, they want to make it so you can't respond with force until you've been backed into a corner and can't escape.

In other other words, punish the victim, protect the criminal.

These big headed "stars" better watch it because, the best I can tell, there are about 30 states that have the "stand your ground" law.
That really narrows down their audience base!
