that is VERY dangerous to have a ladder like that even in a bed of a pickup.  I had a wooden ladder  8' long pretty heavy and it was laying angled up against the tailgate thinking NO way it would fly out, but it did hwy. speeds and luckily did NOT have a vehicle behind me would've been terrible.

Don't know what the big deal is. Now, if he had a kitchen sink bungee corded to the ladder, then I would be impressed.

He needed the ladder to balance the load.

The emperor has no clothes

He`s got the damn thing upside down. No wonder he`s off balance.

As Red Foreman [That 70's SHow] would say,

"DUMBA$$"
Life is not a journey to the grave with the expectation of arriving in one pretty, well preserved piece but, to be skidded into broadside at full speed, battered, bruised, and thoroughly used up, having poked the grim reaper in the eye shouting "GERONIMO"

Yep... I did the same thing just north of Sabine Pass in TX.  We were on our way back from setting up a hunting stand.

Luckily, no one was behind us!

I DO wonder, however, how much the extra wind drag effects his gas mileage....  :uglystupid2:
