Exciting news!!!!!

The Forbes Field in Topeka is supporting an air show this weekend!!!  Maybe the U.S. Govmt. won't support an air show, but WE are!!!
"WARBIRDS AND LEGENDS" is the airshow.... watch for ads.

Here are a couple of links to monitor.

To watch the route and see if we ( the B-17 )  will be flying over your house or business...  We will leave Texas Thursday morning approx. 9:00 A.M..... arriving in Topeka approx. 1:00 P.M.

If you go and take a tour ( $5.00 donation ), ask to see if I am giving tours and I will give you a lot more info than the regular public going through.

Tell your family and friends to go and support how wonderful history of the warbirds.

Kiwi,

I will go my best to get out there!  We live in topeka, what are you doing in the evenings that the show is over.  Can we take you out to eat or something like that.  We have a really good micro brewery here in town and would love to have dinner with you if that is possible.

Let me know,

Thank you for letting us know of this great news!

Wow... thanks for the invite.  Is it close to the show?  The crew usually goes to dinner together, but might convince them to go to the brewery... there are a few beer drinkers among us.  Let me know the name and address/directions and see if they want to go.

Thanks again

P. S..... a hint if anyone goes for a ride.  The nose ride is unique and exciting,,,, BUT you cannot move about the plane after take off.  The seats in midsection, you can get up and move around and take photos and get in the cockpit for short periods... get more for your money that way.

If I don't go with you I would recommend the Java Porter and Tiger Paw Porter, both are dark beers but they are yummy!

... OK... looking forward to seeing everyone there.  Pass the word about the plane and the flights.  The B-17 might be more expensive to fly in, but well worth it!!!  ALSO, the "fee" is tax deductable since we are NON- PROFIT!!!
