I went to the inaugural Formula One race in Austin last November.  The sound of over 20 V8s revving to 19,000 RPM is astounding.  Changing 4 tires in just over 2 seconds is amazing, too.  I've been to all forms of racing and nothing comes close to F1.

This year is the last chance to hear that sound, because F1 changes from V8s to V6 Turbos next year.  The new engines will be good but I don't see how they can compare to the current V8s.
