The guy had swerved to miss a vehicle drifting into his lane, he went over the embankment, the guardrails tore his tanks open, which burst into flames. The Driver, 30-year old Ryan Young, and his 7 year old son sustained minor injuries. State Police are still investigating.

I never had a chance to try it out, but I always thought I'd never leave the roadway without at least some paint from the offending vehicle somewhere on mine.

Explain what?

Lots of truckers take their children with them, especially during the summer school vacation.  Gone all winter, never seeing them.  Lots of truckers gone for weeks at a time.  Vacation is a great time to reconnect.

Trucks are much safer than cars in an accident, and much less likely to be in an accident.

Much more dangerous to be in a car than a truck.  Surely you do not think children should not ride in a car?  LOL

I'm guessing some trucking companies,  maybe especially fuel tankers, do not allow family members to tag along due to insurance liability,etc.???  All depends on the company I guess.

And, on the second and subsequent viewings, you were humming/thinking the sound of Dixie being played on horns as the truck was in the air.
