Yep, I have the same thought as alph.

I do it the old fashioned way. I just have a 'do not read or respond to' list. Stiil, at times I have to read some of them and just try really really hard not to respond.
It would make life easier to not have the posts there at all, wouldn't it.

I don't know about the ignore thing.
As much as you know who and all his incarnations like to stir up the pot & aggravate I find the liberal mind to be fascinating. Still trying to figure out if you know who is truly a lib or just a contrarian.
The lib mind fascinates me, I can understand the young & naive being liberal but the older supposedly wiser still carrying the left handed torch?? 
I have a bit of contrarian inside myself but I draw the line at ignoring common sense or discovering facts that prove me wrong. I'm a big picture guy I guess.
Oh well, I guess some folks are too caught up in the gotcha game to truly think things through.

I do notice that contrarians will offer criticisms but never offer up any of their own ideas on how to solve whatever subject or problem in discussion. That's why I read the posts rather than ignore.

Yeah, I guess you are right about that. I guess I'm a bit naive expecting some logical explanation of liberal thought. So in retrospect, since there IS no logical thought behind "liberal thought" {an oxymoron if there ever was one} Mark is spot on with his use of the ignore feature.

I don't use auto-ignore. Instead, I prefer manual ignore. I think it more "ignoring" to do so
