In a tech post I merely mentioned that I was going to take a long ride from Colorado to St. Louis and would have some miles on a new tire to report on. Out of now where I get a message from a Valk owner in St. Louis asking the dates of my visit, where I was staying, and offered a suggestion for a ride. Having told him, he is getting the local St. Louis crew together to meet up. My hats is off to the St. Louis crew, I am really looking forward to the trip out there.  :D

Not over yet.. I mentioned to another guy in Kansas that I would be staying the night in his town while heading to St. Louis, and he is doing the same thing by getting local Valk riders together to meet up.  :)

I have had my Valk for just over a year now. Having ridden other makes and models , and I can say that I haven't encountered hospitality like this among other groups of riders. From my local Colorado Valkyrie riders to St. Louis and beyond, you guys (and gals) are the best!  :cooldude: You make me proud to own and ride a Valkyrie.

NOT patting myself on the back here BUT when Paxton made his trek from the left coast I rode over to Springfield Mo. met up with him and rode to Rolla Mo. with him and enjoyed the visit and chance to ride with a guy I had only talked with on the board. It is a MAJOR reason I turn myself inside out to attend Inzane. Just the little while I've been here it's like you said-we have some amazing folks on this board. Back in July my brother and I rode to Fort Wayne In. and met Solo 1 and his sons and Fudgie and Kit. We broke bread with them and i'm here to tell you that Indiana contingent made us feel like FAMILY.  :cooldude: If yer coming to my area of southern Missouri I DON'T need a large excuse to ride.  :2funny: And if yer in the area needing repairs I have a small shop and a lift and the Valkyrie adapter to get the fat lady in the air to work on. RIDE SAFE.

I planned a solo trip in 02' to Colorado . I rode from home in Columbus ,In. to Lymon ,Co. In 1 day , about 1100 miles . At the Hotel I saw a guy from St.Louis with a valk on a trailer in the parking lot and jokingly made fun of him about the trailer . He said his wifes back couldnt handle the long trip out and asked if I was going to the Valk rally in Montrose . I told him I didnt know anything about it but would ride over that way in a few days . After riding thru the Rocky Mtn Ntl park I headed towards Montrose . As I pulled into Buena Vista to gas up I saw a grp of valk riders at a gas station across the street and rode over after I fueled up . They welcomed me like a long lost friend ,invited me to ride with them to Montrose and got me the room rebate at the same hotel . I rode with them for 3 days and got to see the best places and roads . They planned my return route over Independence pass as well . It was a great vacation trip and I had a blast , much better than my solo trip would have been . Valk riders are a friendly bunch for the most part . Enjoy your bike !

There's not enough Valks out there to cover all of them.
But I'm willing to take any Valks as donations;.....it's for a good cause;)
