Going out for a ride this morning and trying to think which way. A friend down the street and I will hopefully have a joyous ride. :cooldude:

In the words of Bob Seger in "Roll Me Away",
"I could go East, I could go West; it was all up to me to decide."

Best motorcycle song ever, imho.

Well, its hot and humid in Florida and beautiful and sunny here in upstate New York. The coast along Virginia is probably nice while its pretty smoky in the Rockies right now.

Funny thing about a Motorcycle-when I go for just a ride I NEVER have a destination or a direction in mind. I go as far as I can afford and then I sooner or later have to turn around and head home. But the time in the saddle just riding is what matters.  :cooldude: Tomorrow is a whole nuther kettle of fish. I DO have not only a DESTINATION to get to BUT also a DIRECTION to get there.  :2funny: And the truly nice/wonderful/fantastic/wonderous part of it are-i'm gonna be on da Phatt Ghurl to get to the destination.  :cooldude: So where ever you go what ever direction you choose enjoy the ride have a large time and take a minute or three to smell the flowers.  ;) RIDE SAFE.
Today is the tommorow you worried about yesterday. If at first you don't succeed screw it-save it for nite check.  1964  1968 U S Navy. Two cruises off Nam.

Well just got back from a beautiful ride. Didn't go for as long as I thought initially, friend had to be back, promised wife he'd take her out. :cooldude: We managed to get in a little over 300 miles. Rode up some back roads then through Louisville, along the river and up to Lagrange,KY and meandered down 53 over to 44 to Lawrenceburg ,KY, then then 127 to 62 on back to Elizabethtown. Overall a nice ride. Sorry didn't take pics this time, just rode. :D

Have you checked out any of Civil War Battlefields in Kentucky... One of my best rides was to Perryville. The Battle of Perryville, also known as the Battle of Chaplin Hills over 1,400 men died here more than any other in the war on Kentucky ground.

Wildcat Battlefield is another cool ride you do have to deal with a short gravel road getting here.

Kentucky had over 20 battles during the war... Just throwing this out for the next " Which Way " ... Don't know if you are even into this I know I enjoy the history of going to these places and I love ridin' my bike to them.

Picture's below was taken at Perryville Battlefield in Kentucky ...444 unknown Confederate soldier's are buried around this monument . We took a small group by here on the way to " The Whiskey Run " we did in Bardstown a few years ago we had around 80 bikes show-up for that ride.

I've seen alot of people that thought they were cool , but then again Lord I've seen alot of fools.
