You just never know what those whacky folks from Florida will do next. Who thought it would be a bad idea to keep an alligator in the bathtub?  :crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2:

BTW, possession of an endangered species (alligator is on the list despite the fact there are a million of em in every mud puddle in Florida) is illegal.

Yeah, I saw that also. I don't blame "mom" for making the call, gators have been known to grow up. Can you imagine sitting on the pot next to the tub, trying to take care of your business all the while this thing is splashing around a couple feet away. Some years ago I had a neighbor with his so-called pet snake; a Coral. He swore it was a "look-alike" commonly mistaken for a Coral. I pointed out to him the red was banded by yellow on each side, therefore a Coral. He didn't agree, said he knew his snakes. It wasn't a week later he was in the ER with a bite, almost lost his hand from it. His thinking was still warped....said it wasn't any snake venom, the snake must have given him an infection from bacteria on its teeth. I have no idea if he ever got rid of it, I know I didn't go near his place after that. He was an exercise in stupidity.  :uglystupid2:

Hmm, I wonder if I've mentioned this before. There are a lot of stupid people in this world, really stupid people in these cases.
An alligator being raised in a bath tub !
A moron thinking a Coral snake is a King snake ! That's really really stupid. Apparently he has never heard the old saw about 'red on yellow can kill a fellow'.
Maybe technology has come too far, it seems to have slowed ' Darwin' quite a bit.

You just can't fix stoopid

A few years ago I saw a guy shoot a 12' gator for no reason in pond over in Clermont. I couldn't get out of there quick enough and just knew game wardens were watching  :(

What a dumbass

You just never know what those whacky folks from Florida will do next.

Three points if I may.

Point 1.  The problem with the whacky folks from Florida is that most of them aren't from Florida to begin with as most of them have moved here from some other state.  There's few of us natives left.   ;)

Point 2.  Currently, it's actually gator season right now......untill about the end of this (or next) week.  The season will open back up later and go untill sometime in November I think.

You can hook 'em, you can kill 'em with a bang stick (if you can get them close enough to your boat), or you can shoot 'em with an arrow.....you just can kill 'em with a gun.  You can't even have a gun on you or in your boat.

Once you have your catch of gators, you don't even have to clean and dress them.  You sell them to a licenced buyer for about 20/23 dollars per foot I think.  There's big money to be had in hunting gators.

There are size limits though.

Point 3.  What the hell is a 45 year old grown man doing still livin' with his mother?   :uglystupid2:
I can't help about the shape I'm in
I can't sing, I ain't pretty and my legs are thin
But don't ask me what I think of you
I might not give the answer that you want me to
