I know it sucked for the driver of the truck, but wouldn't that wake you up if you were on that lower level simply minding your own business when a truck fell on you?

Just another reason I avoid night driving/riding (in my heavy urban area)... most of the drunks are out at night.

 I read the article that was on the you tube video link. He is ok. Didn't have any life threatening injuries. She refused the breathalyzer. She denied she was driving until the trooper told her it was all on video.  What I heard she has been arrested for DUI before. The reported in another video said her license had been suspended like 10 times. She is only 25. Why in the hell is someone like this still allowed to drive.....

In answer to yer last question-they REFUSE to put drunk drivers in jail. The LAWYERS keep getting them off and they go out and do it all over again. And the lawyers get em off again. Repeat repeat repeat-until they finally kill someone. And even after they kill someone there is still no guarantee that they will go to jail-much less stay there. You could end drunk driving 2moro. First offense-10 years No parole you do the entire dime. Second offense-30 years NO parole you do the 30. Do you HONESTLY believe anybody would do a 3d offense-Oh hell yeah-Lock em up at HARD labor and throw away the key. End of drunk driving problem. HARSH you say-so is losing a family member or friend to a stupid ass drunk driver. RANT over fer now. RIDE SAFE.
