Ya know, I'm having to show ID almost every where I go or for everything I do. Even get ID'd at the local grocery store for a case of beer. I've been on social security for a couple years now and I don't really look young for my age.
How hard is it to get an ID. As far as I know, every DMV or Sheriff office will issue them at taxpayer expense. At least, they do here.
The 'Ds' and 'Ls' don't want ID because it is the only way they can get elected. After-all, aren't they supposed to vote early and often.

Excluding King O's administration, does anyone recall the justice dept ever suing a state...... for anything?

The special interest attorneys, political activists and the heavy hand of government will be the downfall of the US of A. All three go hand in glove

I only saw one talking head actually pressure a loudmouth crying that making folks show ID to vote is racist.  He asked for specifics.  He asked how does making EVERYONE show ID constitute racism and the replies ranged from lack of money, to no transportation, to the elderly, etc.  The talking head "reminded" the loudmouth that there are more poor whites than black and hispanics combined.  He "reminded" the loudmouth that there are more elderly, sick, transportation challenged, non-English speaking white people than black and hispanic combined.  So, how can voter ID be racist when more whites would be affected than blacks and hispanics combined?  There was no rational answer provided.

  The federal government has only been suing states since the very formation of our government.  happens all the time.

where i live, all you need to do is go to the poles, tell them your name (if you're registered they'll have your name on the list) then vote.  now, two years before the last election my neighbor died, and guess what, HIS NAME WAS STILL ON THE LIST AS A REGISTERED VOTER!!  all i had to do is say i'm "so-n-so" and vote in his name!!  now, sure that would be wrong and illegal.  but, if i don't care about respecting the other laws of this country, why would i care to abide by the voting laws of this country?  if i come here illegally, what's going to stop me from voting illegally?  if i'm caring an illegal gun, and cooking crank/crack, or selling the stuff, not giving a damn about the society laws put in place to protect people, why would i care if i'm voting twice, or even three times?  it's not that it'll make it "harder" for those that are unable to get an ID, it's that we need to only count the votes for those that care to abide by the laws of voting.  it is better to NOT count a persons vote if they can not prove who they are, then to count their vote and trust them to not be a criminal. 

I can not in my conscience vote illegally, but if I have no respect for the law, I tarnish the sanctity of everyone else's vote.  It is more disrespectful to not have voter ID than it is to allow any tom-dick-or harry to vote. 

NO, EVERY VOTE DOES NOT COUNT when some are counted more than others.

And that's how I feel about that........
