Triple tread rubbing

Just installed my 3rd. triple tread 205/60/16, tread looked a little different from the last one.  Put 1st on in 2008/ last tire on in 2011 neither one rubbed. this one rubs slightly. Anyone know of a fix, maybe a 2nd. thrust washer? Will it wear off?

Did you check wheel bearings when the wheel was off?

I'm guessing on the swing arm.

Yes checked bearings they felt good. Tread design looked different from last tt put on in 2011, it was close before but never rubbed swing arm. I can spin wheel by hand but it's definitely rubbing. Wondering if anyone else has recently put one on and had this problem?

   I just purchased my first one today from tirerack 205/60/r16 Hopefully it will not rub, Never have gone to the darkside but i am tired of putting on tires that don't last! We Will See

I put a 205/60 on mine, and it didn't rub, but, would knock the dust off the sidewall. Could not slip a credit card between the swingarm and the tire, but, never did actually touch the tire. Some tires do that and some don't. If it is actually is touching, I wouldn't run it. You might get the clearance you need by inflating a little more, or loosen everything up, and retorque everything in the proper sequence.

You should be fine and I think you'll love the tt. I took mine back off this evening and found the source of my rub. There are 2 thin flat plates welded on the drive shaft tubing, one of these plates was bent out, took a hammer and tapped it tight against the swing arm , tire no longer rubs. Put some masking tape on the swingarm, inside fender etc and go for a hard ride. The tape should tell you where it's rubbing.

I have over 27K miles on my Falken, and it has always rubbed. Not all the time, I figure it hits while turning left or right, or on hard bumps. I worried about it at first, but after all this time I don't care anymore. It's just a dark black 'clean' patch all around the tire.
