This morning at approximately 0800 there will be a group of 150 plus wounded and injured vets leaving the Hyatt Regency in downtown Chicago on bicycles for Soldier Field. There will be a opening ceremony for the start of a five day run a crossed Indiana and central Michigan..

The group is called Ride 2 Recovery. They have a web sight www.ride2recovery.com where there are links which show the ride routes if you're in the area... these folks do a lot for our wounded and injured vets.

I am riding motorcycle escort /traffic control this trip.
Done it once before a great week. Not much speed but the experience is on you'll never for get...
