What size do the glass pack inlet and exit need to be? 2 1/2", 3"? I assume they are all the same diameter. The shop talk page just says 18 or 24" length and a 12" length. Nothing about the end sizes.

Regis

Id say whatever size coupler and nipple size you wanna buy . But if it was me Id go with 2 1/2" .

Mr Whiskey

Yo Gavin, the goin' answer here seem's to be 2" is "right" for the necessary scavenge effect.
We took "Warlock's" glass packs off when my Brother Lawdog bought it. It had a 4" to 3" reducer & the glass pack was a 2". With out the 2" reduction of the glass pack it was "raped ape" loud but, it fell on it's face, ( lost most of it's power). We cut the glass packs in half, removed all the glass, & reinstalled the empty half shells, (gave it back the 2" reduction at the pack, empty half shells). It was almost as loud, but regained all the power it lost with the open 3" reducer, (4" to 3" to 2").
Hope this helps,
                       peace, Whiskey.

Hey whiskey,  I like what you did to your pipes, im now thinking of going that route. Cut the end baffle out and install truck stacks. I might try to get the baffle out without cutting it. We have some hole saws at work that might do the job.

Man, I love the new sound! Deep, throaty, mean! Sounds like a Dragon' 'posed to IMHO. (Cut 7.5 inches off factory cans, notched stacks around hangers & drove 'em in place.) Yes there's some "drone" but I only hear it under bridges. (Course, even the helmet law in TN. caint make me wear a "real" helmet! I've been wearin 'the same novelty for over 20 years.)
Lawdog liked it so much he traded his glass pack pipes for a set of "ragnar's" & is workin' on funds for the truck stacks as we speak.
If you're in the market for a set of truck stacks I can highly recommend....

They're 4" od & they're special order. He doesn't carry anything that small in house.
"Binky" is a straight shooter, (jus' ask Lucky 13). He'll ad them to an existing order, (to save you shippin' to his place) or can have them drop shipped to your door!
Mine ran me $153 ($70 ea. + tax) & the chrome is excellent, heavy duty!
I cut mine down from 36" to 33.5" to get them to match the profile of the bags & help keep them from draggin'. So far, we aint hit 'em, even on the "Dragon", haha.
Not affiliated, jus' a happy camper.
Peace, Whiskey.
