10 things I learned at Meet in the Middle

1.    I learned that  riding with Mark (no matter where) you will get wet, so bring rain gear (Gig, Lulu, take heed) 
2.   My Valk will go 180 miles on a tank of gas without hitting reserve at a speed of 45-55 Mph (4.1 gal) 
3.   Old rain gear sucks at repelling water but will hold 2 gallons in the crotch area, only to dump it in your boots when you get off the bike. 
4.    Gig only thinks it's a cool party if there is alcohol involved that comes in a mason jar. 
5.   Jess apparently wears a fruity deodorant that will attract wasps even at 60 Mph, however they apparently do not like the scent at close range and will do everything to get out of his shirt. (Another reason we wear jackets). 
6.   Late night hotel managers seem to dislike Mark and Joe  , and the Police officers that show up afterwards seem to like them. 
7.   Women who drink too much go to bed with their boots on. 
8.   Feeding inebriated Gremlins after midnight causes severe heartburn, which causes a lack of sleep. 
9.   The phrase "you meet the nicest people on a Honda" still holds true especially within the VRCC community. 
10.   If you did not go you missed an adventure, great time and as always great people.

I do not know what type of bug flew up my shirt sleeve, but it bit/stung me 7 times in the armpit.      I smacked him hard many times, and it apparently pissed him off.  Oral benadryl helps the swelling, but makes you sleep all day.

I do not wear fruity anything.
