That 205/55/16 has been used on the rear by several darksiders and would not mount on the front of a Valkyrie. Stock size of the Valkyrie front is 150/80/17, so you would have to stay with a 17inch tire on the front. I have a 205/60/16 on the rear of my interstate, and a rear Shinko 230 in a 130/90/17 size, on the front, which is slightly smaller than the stock size. I have been running this combo for over 3k miles and have had no problems at all. I did have the Shinko mounted forward, not reverse, like some do, and am happy with the ride.

There is not a lot of room in the fender for a tire any wider than stock. I would measure the amount of clearance available, then start looking for a tire with the same dimensions. I would think finding a tire with all the qualities you are looking for, you'll have to search for it. I personally have never seen a trike with anything but a standard bike tire on the front, except for the old Harley Servicars :cooldude:

I would suspect that such a setup with a car tire on the front would be difficult to turn with the larger contact patch. I would also suspect that this would be progressively harder the slower you went.

So maneuvering in a parking lot, for instance, would be harder than it would have to be.
