Sorry had to get the drama of global warming going. Who were the ones who said that the arctic ice would melt and flood us all? Maybe,, but not today 

Arctic sea ice up 60 percent in 2013

About a million more square miles of ocean are covered in ice in 2013 than in 2012, a whopping 60 percent increase -- and a dramatic deviation from predictions of an "ice-free Arctic in 2013," the Daily Mail noted.

Arctic sea ice averaged 2.35 million square miles in August 2013, as compared to the low point of 1.32 million square miles recorded on Sept. 16, 2012, according to the National Snow and Ice Data Center. A chart published Sept. 8 by NSIDC shows the dramatic rise this year, putting total ice cover within two standard deviations of the 30-year average.

Noting the year over year surge, one scientist even argued that "global cooling" was here.

Just to add a comment, there are a number of oil companies that have invested heavily
in creating a tanker with a hugely reinforced hull that is capable of breaking ice.

Whether or not there is more ice in the arctic, the prospect of an ice free, or low ice
arctic is very attractive to shipping.

And if there is really more ice up there, these ice tankers could go through.

MSN just reported that we may be entering global cooling.  I find that hilarious as they have been on the global warming bandwagon for so long.

Please, please stay up to date. There is no naturally man made phenomenom as global warming.

You really need to have more concern about "climate change".

How will the planet survive with all this climate change going on.

Every day in most locations around the world the climate changes and that's just wrong.

Every day, every hour, every minute somewhere on this beautiful planet the climate is changing and how will the planet be able to cope with all this climate change without our help?

it's going to be a hard season for the fishermen that go after opilio crab in January.

you know the "deadliest catch" guys. the ice pack is going to be down pretty far.

there are sailboats and even a cruise ship trapped up in the ice in ports.

Hooray you have the knowledge that so many don't.

I'm sure you would love to contribute to my fund that hopes to educate so many about what they can do to stop the incessant change in climate that happens minute to minute to minute every day.

Surely WE can all pull together and do something about thos pesky clouds that are blocking the sun on and off most days.

Howabout those blasted breezes that you can occasionally feel when outdoors. They need to be stopped before they cause irreparable damage to ALL of us.

Yep, we're sure experiencing "climate change" here in Florida. A week ago, it was hotter than....well, you know. But today the climate has changed....it's just plain hot, with a breeze no less. Oh woe is me/us. 

I don't know what all the fuss was about re. global warming, telling us the joint is going to melt away. They got all tingly when they discovered the melted ice actually allowed a new route across the top of the earth. Well big flippin deal, that was the route the Norsemen used something like 6-700 yrs. ago. The ice floe had melted enough to allow navigation by them to North America...long before Chrissy Columbus was even born. Guess that global warming period didn't last either. Seems our fools of academia never took a history lesson. As usual, facts just muddy up the waters....or their brains. Probably the latter.
