Its just a "NO STOP" denial. They will still ride through. Stopping at all the red lights.
We had 25 miles of bikes on a PGR ride to honor post Civil war soldiers that were disturbed when they were excavating a new parkinglot at the UofA. Absolutely in the best interest of all concerned to not have them stop.
Aot of guys with burn marks, gnarly scars and funny twitches ask why I spend so much on safety gear

Yeah, saw it on my favorite "Fox" news program this morning.

The reason for not giving the permit was lack of manpower, I guess to flag at all the intersections.

So they will still ride but now have to obey the traffic laws, which will take excessively longer to get through.

Supposidly it's not called a "million muslim" march anymore.  I forgot what the term was but I think they said the last time there was way less than a million showed up so they renamed it.
Remember, if you are on a bike and wreck with a car no matter how "in the right" you are you are going to lose. RIDE LIKE EVERBODY IS OUT TO GET YOU!!

This is the last paragraph from the article concerning the million muslim march.
" These lies told to the American population has made it impossible for us to do true Dawa. Why do we have to defend our religion while doing Dawa? Why can't we just share the perfection of the Quran and the beauty of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SWS)?"

I therefore think it is brilliant to deny the no stop permit.  The bikes are going anyway.   This will cause the bike ride to be an all day event instead of a few hours.  God love our harley bretherin cause the noise should drown out the noise of the Muslims.  Also, the irony of being surrounded by hogs all day will make me smile  ;D
best advice I ever got - at least once a week call your wife into the room and tell her to sit down. Then, give her a good listening to.   -my father in law

In a perverted ironic jaundiced sorta way-the very thought of all those peaceful mooslims sharing the stage(and I M H O the wrong date for them)with motorcycles that are usually called HOGS has a nice ring to it.  :cooldude: But I already KNOW i'm bent/warped/perverted/and a little over half a bubble off plumb.  :2funny: RIDE SAFE.

I just don't know how anything will get accomplished any where in D.C. with the shear number of bikes present and all the noise that will come with it.
