What? There were riders in DC yesterday? You sure?

Good read Daniel.

I don't think anyone really cares except us motor riders.

My neighbor who is a WW II vet, came over and asked what all the excitement was for in DC.     I told him and he said 'oh' and walked away.     That is pitiful, that the news media can't keep everyone informed.    I know, you work for the media.

Had this event been one of carnage, death and fire, it would have been sensationalized by the media. It would have been "those damn nasty dirty bikers"! It's not "always" true that you catch more with honey than with vinegar. ( I've heard this several different ways)
Those individuals involved chose the right way even though intimidated. It proved that bikers are peaceful people. This says more than any paper ever could. We should be proud!

Denies the permit therefore we DO NOT exist. Least ways according to deception central and most of the low life idjits that toil/work/exist there. I mentioned in another thread that I would be surprised if we got anything more than a passing glance and sad to report-no surprise but a LOT of disappointment.  :-\ So if a peaceful show of support don't get mentioned with a LOT of Motor Cycle Riders showing up there-do you think or believe we will get any notice when the TRY to load us on the buses and take us to the f e m a camps?? This lack of any reporting tells me zackly how much we is or ain't anymore-NOT MUCH far as deception central and the lame stream media are concerned. Do you STILL believe we aren't an endangered species?? Americans Citizens Riders Christians Humans. RIDE SAFE.

I was wondering where the coverage was too.

Are there any bikers or patriots in the media?

Are there any bikers or patriots in the White House?

I believe people got a bit carried away with what the message was suppose to be. Was the purpose really to stand up to muslims walking to support muslim tolerance?  That's what i kept seeing on facebook. Except it appeared to me that most of the people making comments had no idea the muslim march was to promote tolerance. It seems a bunch of people were upset that they would march on 9/11. Maybe I didn't get the whole picture so i could be completely wrong.

It does seem they were successful in all but shutting down the muslim march, assuming that was their goal. From what I read, the muslim walkers were concerned about any confrontation making them look bad so very few did.

If there was a better message, I'm sad to see it might have been lost. I can understand why the news didn't run it. Many of the comments and remarks I was seeing on facebook made the thing come off as "hatred" towards muslims in general without making any distinction between good people and bad.

Just for some reference here, we host Rolling Thunder every year year, close to 500K, and we're lucky to get a 10 second sound bite on any national news.  Not much more on local news, and I looked and saw no coverage anywhere yesterday.  MSM has it's agenda...... and we are not it.
