the year is 87.98.99 cant tell but the tank emblems are from those years and the pipes were  made by two brothers racing 6 into 2 like mine they make long and short canisters they are no longer made they have a crossover pipe built into the stainless steel headers before the mufflers to balance back pressure and they make straight chrome drag type pipes 6 into 6 like the cobra pipes but have a turnout at the end there is a set on ebay rite now of the straight chrome ones the last long canister set like in the picture sold for 650.00 on ebay

Wow! That is one sweet Standard!! But I do think it need a little more chrome! 

2 brothers must have two different pipes bc my BIL has 2Bro and his are similar to my Cobras but the ends turn outward.

Yeah, it sho nuff is!   But I still would like to have the canister kind too feel the difference- 10-12 HP is Very noticeable on a bike!

The 6x6 straight end pipes aren't Two Bros., they're Cobras. Two Bros. made theirs with the turnout ends as mentioned.

Not so correct.  When Two Brothers marketed the pipes they communicated in their ads a claim of 2-3 HP increase with the 6X6 and a much larger increase with the 6X2 including a crossover pipe. 

I've used both and I strongly suspect their claims are true.

the longer canister has a smoother more mellow power band and is very nice on a touring or distance ride the shorter cans I have we actually made for a ST1100  Honda bit they slide rite on the headers and a few small adjustments to the hangers of the long ones allow mounting very easy but make a much more aggressive bark and sound real sweet without getting the real loud sound but the powerband is more in the midrange and feels more useable when riding around town I was real lucky to find both sets on craigslist are a very low price the long pipes are actually carbon fiber but I had a metal company roll a flat piece of  stainless into a tube and it slides rite over the canister its a real slick setup

Could be 98 or 99. The production numbers on 98 were higher than 99. The majority of maroon and cream tourers I have seen are 98.

I may be color blind but his looked red to me.

Mine is a "99" Tour that I bought brand new in  Dec. 2001. The color is Sedona Red & Cream. The pipes are Two bro as stated, I have run the 6 n 6 tb did not notice any hp kick, I modified my oem pipes to 13 inch glass packs and love the sound but I currently run Cobars, switch from time to time to change sound. This valk looks very much like one I new of in Rock Hill,SC, have not seen it lately.
