You know, I really do try to understand the liberal mind. I kinda sorta was one myself a long long time ago, maybe. I liked folk music and Bob Dylan, does that make me one. I pretty much live in the lands of the liberals and deal with them every day. Don't get me wrong, most are good people, just mis-guided[ :) ]. They just make my head hurt which gives me a reason to have another beer. I guess I'll never figure out what goes on inside those minds. I consider that just another one of life's little wonderments.

Fantastic post Skinhead. Based on previous posts from certain members, it will be interesting to see if their responses to this follow the same thinking of the past. My bet is that it will!  :crazy2:

Skinhead....that was the NSA trying to foil your attempt at posting the truth.  Its is simply mindboggling that all that is true and no one seems to care  ???

I could just as easily make a bunch of goofy memes that play on the misconceptions of conservatives and dumb liberals will eat them up the way dumb conservatives eat up the ones posted above. But I know a lot of liberals AND conservatives. Typically those memes don't represent the AVERAGE American who could be categorized as either. They represent the most extreme or fanatical of either faction. But since these things are so popular and fanatics have a tendency to believe anything they read that supports their viewpoint, they only serve to perpetuate the stupidity, not like we needed help...

I have to agree with you Anvil.  Only those who wish to incite will believe everything that was originally posted.  The liberal faction could do the same.  I happen to agree with the majority of these pictures though  :2funny:
The problem with Socialists is they eventually run out of other people's money to spend!

Some people are too stupid to realize how ignorant they are.

You too missed the point. I guess I'll explain...

To your question; What was in them that wasn't true? I actually didn't say that the "information" contained within those witty little GIFs isn't true. What I said was that they don't represent the AVERAGE liberal viewpoint which is not as extreme as those GIFs portray. Sure, there are liberals who are completely over the edge just as there are conservatives who have crossed the line into ultra-nationalism/fascism. Again, these people are not the AVERAGE conservative.

To your request for me to "prove it"... To make GIFs painting all conservatives with the same extremist brush is counterproductive to coming together on common ground so I will not participate in such petty activities.

But I wouldn't have to anyway. Google is your friend, dude. You are a handful of keystrokes away from finding far more than I have time to provide.

I dunno Anvil.  Most liberals I know are very well representative of those gifs.  I don't think most of them are "over the edge" at all, but hold a fairly maintstream liberal point of view......as skewed as it may be.

Most all I know are ardent Kool Aid drinkers.

They might say the same thing about you being a fascist. That's one thing I HAVE found; that we tend to form opinions of people without really getting to know them.

The problem with liberals & liberalism in general is that in order to prove them wrong the country as we know it will have to be destroyed.
And they will still blame capitalism.

Conservatism properly practiced does not destroy the golden goose.

You could say the same about liberalism. Properly practiced liberalism and properly practiced conservatism each = just slightly to the left or right (respectively) of center. In fact, different times and conditions may call for the application of one or the other. FDR was the right man for the job during the great depression. Reagan was the right man for the job in 1980.

The problem there is the "properly practiced" part. It never is. The extremists always get a hold of either one and pervert it, usually because they are screaming the loudest.
