A form of this must be going nation-wide. All the teachers I know are arguing what is going on because they are no longer teachers, just info gatherers and test givers. I'm not involved in this, but, I don't hear any good of it. I wish an 84 would have gotten me an A way back when. Our country certainly is back sliding compared to the rest of the industrialized world.

Education has been going downhill since the "No Child Left Behind" policy.  We are sending kids to college and the workforce that can't add or spell.

Way before that!  When government got involved and made education and entitlement, THAT's when it went down hill.  My district spends $36,000 per kid.  Give me a voucher for $36,000 and let schools compete for that check.  You'll see the standard of education and "customer' service skyrocket.  The most expensive private school in my area costs $1,000 less per kid.  I'll even give them back the change.

And you wonder the WHY of the young person behind the counter of Micky Ds-the handi mart-the grocery store or the donut shop CAN NOT count back change with out a cash register or a calculator. The can't do it in their head. Want a real fun time-ask same young person about current events. RIDE SAFE.
