Okay, I admit it. I'm a bit cheap...this being $108 shipped made it attractive to me. Now I just need to find a pair of suitable spotlights for it.

I received it today and bolted it on...fits up perfectly with my Tourer windshield. Nice chrome, nice design, fit up perfectly and clears the shield.

Has anyone else got one of these and if so what spots did you put on it?

Would you space the spotlights up with chrome tubes or coupling nuts to be at the normal height, or live with them down there?

And is there a set of LED spots out there that would fit, look good, deliver usable illumination and draw a lot less power than halogens?
Look at flashlights...the things are about as bright as a nuclear flash anymore and draw little power.

take a look at the kuryakyn website and go from there they have a large selection of lights then look for a cheeper version online

I found these LED lights from Big Bike Parts a couple of years ago, they were expensive,
I don't remember how much... I sent them back because the way they attached to the light
bar wasn't "normal"...

Like you, I bet they make some really good LED headlights these days...

Sorry for the poor quality of the pictures but when I took them I didn't concentrate on the lights.  You should be able to zoom in on these and see them better.  I got these a number of years ago from JC Whitney.  I just checked the web site and they no longer list them, but you might be bale to find something similar.  These were only about $30.
