Here's a scary thought...

The same administration that has a history of using the IRS to harass critics and that's having a temper tantrum because we won't give him his toy and going out of it's way to make a minor slowdown of the government as painful as possible (Multiple examples above) wants to control your health care, decide who gets which medicines, who gets which life saving surgeries. In essence, who lives or dies.

Yeah.... I'm just filled with warm fuzzies right now, I tell ya'.

(And for our friends on the left, keep in mind, someday there will be a Republican president in office again. I'd hope they wouldn't lower themselves to this level of pettiness, but who knows. You really wanna be denied life saving procedures or medicines because you made a donation to MoveOn?)

Over the last few days I have thought a lot about this Government Shut down as have many others... Here is something I'd like you to consider. And before I start, I want to make it clear, because I know the accusation will be made, that I have NOT heard this idea from any Conservative TV or radio personality or Tea party website, as far as I know, this is an original thought to me....

I thought that a President of the United States was suppose to be a LEADER and have the best interest of ALL the American people at heart...

So, we find a situation where we have, according to him, a Small fringe element of one party holding us hostage for political ideology..... I think I got all his inflammatory rhetoric there... Well, if he is a LEADER that truly cared about his people, wouldn't he be trying to make this as PAINLESS as possible for the people he is suppose to serve?
Instead we see him doing things like ordering national monuments and cemetaries shut down that are not normally guard..
We see him shutting down government web sites like that for the amber alert system.
We see him shutting down part of the ocean.
We see him trying to shut down properties that are not even owned by the federal government like Mount Vernon.

It has been reported that the orders to do these things came directly from the White House in order to make this as painful as possible for the American people...

I'm sorry Mr Soetorro, that is the acts of a vindictive and small person, NOT a leader and certainly not one deserving of the title POTUS. A leader makes every attempt to protect his people... Again you have not only failed, you have not only engaged in, but carried to a new level the exact crimes you charge your opponents with.

How many were around and remember the last shut-downs during clinton's watch ? Most didn't know there was a shut-down, it didn't effect many and the economy gained 7% the next quarter. clinton was smart enough to understand he could not make this difficult on the tax base,and, he had another election to worry about.

I'm wondering and trying to look into just where that came from, the white house or the Pentagon. I think the number is now up to 17. I'm afraid the Pentagon will end up taking the blame for this regardless of where it came from.

If this keeps up, the House should pass a special law evicting Zero and family from the white house and closing it down (which is owned and operated by the National Park Service, who is gaining experience in Park closures) (no public tours have been allowed since sequester anyway).  Let them bunk in with the Bidens over at the Naval Observatory.
