You won't find it at the bookstore. It's the Mag that comes with your AMA membership.

Got my mag and read the story and lo and behold-I KNOW the guy what penned the words!!  :cooldude: Good job Wayne. I just KNOW you have other tales to be told and looking forward to more in the American Motorcyclist. RIDE SAFE.

Great read!  I still miss my first bike, a 62 Yamaha 100, and the first taste of freedom it provided.

Wayne, I also received my American Motorcyclist today.  Read your story but at first did not recognize your name.  Great article.  I too am a fan of British thumpers.  First bike in '64 was a BSA Gold-Star.

Congrats Dad. I have heard that story many times over the years. Feels good to see it printed in the AMA magazine.

The last time Solo1 was down there was I think in 03 when dad, myself, my two brothers and fellow VRCC rider six2go went down to Pigeon Forge and rode into the park. Although we did not ride the BRP we had a great time. Oh and we were all on Valks Except my older brother he has a PC800..
