Nothing can hurt them. Besides , they are related to the other idiot crotch rocket riders. They are not all bad , but some are looking to cause , or looking for a place to have an accident.

craziest thing a crotch rocket I ever seen was on a main 2-lane hwy. very straight and smooth with a crotch rocket coming at me doing about 60 mph is my guess NOT on the bike but standing to the side with guessing metal plates on his bottom of shoes creating sparks going down the road only thing on bike was his hands on handlebars is all.  Wonder how he got his butt back on the bike kept looking back in rearview mirror of Valk but never saw him much was still throwing sparks off the road with his feet.

Craziest thing I've ever seen? I was riding down the highway at about 65 mph when out of my mirror I could see a bike way back. As I glance back an forth I can see he is rapidly approaching. When he finally is behind me, he pulls up along side me on my left crossing a double yellow line, and stays parallel to me. I can see he has a helmet on(required in NY), and then looks at my valk. He stares for a few seconds, shakes his head in approval, does a wheelie and rides off on a wheelie! All the time I'm still riding along at 65 mph. He comes down from his wheelie and takes off like a shot and is out of sight.

While on his wheelie, you should've gunned the Valk and blew by him until he finally caught up to you and passed you again.  Or not, I guess 2 wrongs don't make a right.

Other dumb moment I had was about the one and only time I rode with a HD group and the ultra classic HD with 50ish year old rider  (loud pipes and all) with his mid 40ish wife on back popped the clutch and revved the heck out of the HD and did a 1' wheelie with wife on back going about 60 while I was only a few yards behind him.   Fine to do it by yourself but why risk the other riders in your group from doing stupid stuff just to show off or what???????  They both thought it was funny until something bad might happen - drinking played a part in it as well, not for me, but for both of them having a few too many.

And it's funny, I see a lot more idiots when I'm on the bike than I do when I'm in the cage...

4 Crotch splat, zip rockets ahead of me.... GOING THE SPEED LIMIT!!!!! 35 mph.

No traffic in front..... WTF?!?!?!?!?

So I passed em at 70 (on a double yellow) and never saw them again..... ;)

I had a Kawasaki MkII 500 triple two stroke.
That was a rocket and a lot of bike for my skill level at the time.
It would occasionaly start backwards. That was crazy.
Aot of guys with burn marks, gnarly scars and funny twitches ask why I spend so much on safety gear

Believe it or not, About 20 miles north of "The Incident" here in NY, there are a few heavily traveled twisty roads and twisty goat trails.  Of course the cruisers, as well as cars, take the roads slower than the sport bikes, and for the most part the sport bike riders are well behaved.  Yes, you can see that some get mad and frustrated because they want to ride the road and Hasidics in a minivan are holding up traffic.  They do tend to ride aggressive and close, but then they realize that it's a one lane road with every turn a blind turn so they're no going anywhere.

Wife and I decided to go out for pizza tonight. My wife doesn't ride as much as she used to so it was refreshing to see
that she grabbed her helmet, signaling we would take the Valk.

We didn't even get a mile down the road when I saw two quads coming out of a field to my left. They stopped and checked for
traffic when I "thought" they were going to wait for me to go by before going straight across the road to another field.

One of em took off just as I approached doing 40mph. He got all the way through the opposing lane and was real closed to getting
broadsided by us when I slowed rapidly and he saw us and managed to stop before entering our lane.

About 3 miles later we were on a 4 lane road when a guy decided to make a lane change into my lane. I stay out of people's blind
spots whenever possible but this was a busy road of rush hour traffic. I was veering left and ready to hit the horn but he saw me and
got back in his lane.

Two incidents in 5 miles. It's a jungle out there, folks.

Ride safe!

Man, I loved the two stroke bikes. And they would indeed start backwards from time to time. My brother Larry who lost his life in his vette in the early 80's had a 500cc Kal two stroke triple too. I believe the dealerships put a sign on them which read "for experienced riders only". I think they were the fastest production bike in the world at that time too.

I was fortunate to put a leg over the 500 triple and the 750 triple. Them damn things WILL get yer pulse racin a tad mite.  :cooldude: The 750 was the first machine I went vertical on-wheelie-just twisting the throttle.  :o When either one of them came "on the pipe" you best have a firm grip on it otherwise it WILL spit yer sorry butt off.  :crazy2: Yeah I was a lot younger and even then they were scary fast.  :cooldude: RIDE SAFE.
