'98 Standard For Sale - Central North Carolina

Took a lovely Fall ride down toward my Mom and Dad's place and saw this '98 Standard for sale less than a mile from their house.  Turns out a childhood friend and lifelong rider is selling it.  He's in his early 60s and says he's giving up riding after his best friend had a terrible accident recently.  Sad...

The Craigslist ad is pretty minimal, but I spoke to my friend by phone later on.  I can not vouch for the bike personally - but it appeared in good shape and mostly stock.  I did note the light bar and windshield.  And, my friend says the color is solid pearl white - not sure that's stock.

I'm not in the market for another motorcycle and I have no interests in this bike.  Just hoping to possibly connect an interested VRCC member to what appears to be a nice '98 Standard at a good asking price in the Salisbury, NC area.
