another dud by Honda.  I would rather have the ST1300.

If global warming is happening...why is it so cold up here?

More upward riding style and showing off the engine without all that tupperware are the 2 good things.  Bad thing is looks odd to me and what is it with that spec of a shield on front, why even have a windshield at all????  No backrest either for passenger, must be stripped down version?

Well I like the idea but I do not care for the all in one piece looking fairing-windshield-gas tank. Some nice conventional designed forks and gas tank along with a conventional windshield would be something that could get my attention. :cooldude:

a V-4, heck i'd buy it!!  don't know if i'd take it across country, but it'd be a lot smoother than a V-twin!! still like the idea of a flat six cylinder, i wonder who makes 'em...... (sarcasm)

I really like it.
Center foot postioning, not like the CTX 700 which puts your feet out in front, low seat height, like the Valk, so you don't have to stand on tip toes at the traffic light and one of the sweetest V 4 bike engines there is. There'll be other windshield choices I'm sure.
Can't wait to see/ride one.

Honda left off 1-2 feet short in the shield and pipes.

These design engineers at Honda have no clue what a real bike should look like.

All of them now are probably 20 something years old never driven a bike in their life.

Michvalk

I'd ride one of those! Not wild about the fairing, but a good looking bike from that view! :cooldude:

cookiedough

What about 2 foot longer pipes?  Those stock pipes belong on a honda rebel for crying out loud -  :2funny:

Michvalk

I like it too. I will be first in line to see that one. At 6' 2" and 270 LBS, will need to set on/ ride before any real conclusions. I have been debating an st1300 for a year, but, the riding position hurts my back after a short while, and the passenger position on an st is not the best. A F6B is slightly out of my range, pricewise, and this should be a little closer. Altho I have seen some really discounted prices for the F6B online, so, maybe the prices will drop to my range. (about 15,000 or less) :cooldude:

Dubsvalk

I like it!  I also bet I could take the engine and tranny and adapt it to a Valk.  It would still be a good performer with fuel injection to boot!
Just thinking.

The good news.......it ain't a V-twin, and I do like lift off saddle bags. Add a few thousand in aftermarket upgrades (exhaust, windshield, back rest, car tire) and you'll have a 2/3rd Valkyrie.

It looks like a starter Wing.

Don't much care for it.
I can't help about the shape I'm in
I can't sing, I ain't pretty and my legs are thin
But don't ask me what I think of you
I might not give the answer that you want me to

..

One night in a sleazy bar a F6B and an ST1300 got hammered on sake and this is the lurve child.

Love that answer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D
Now this is getting interesting........

Gavin_Sons

Dont like it at all, looks like a baby wing

I like the exposed engine, but overall it looks too plastic-y.  They should have styled it more in the direction of the Valkyrie.  The ST1300=Gold Wing Jr. this could have been Valkyrie Jr.

+1... My thoughts exactly!  :coolsmiley:

Ditch some plastic, lengthen the pipes, maybe a real windshield & they would get some consideration from me.
It is a step in the right direction, that V-4 is a sweet engine!  :cooldude:
'13 F6B black-the real new Valkyrie Tourer
'13 F6B red for Kim
'97 Valkyrie Tourer r&w, OLDFRT's ride now!
'98 Valkyrie Tourer burgundy & cream traded for Kim's F6B
'05 SS 750 traded for Kim's F6B
'99 Valkyrie black & silver Tourer, traded in on my F6B
'05 Triumph R3 gone but not forgotten!

It is.

112,000 miles on my ST1300. Never had to adjust the valve shims.

Pretty consistent 42mpg.

I've had it at 155mph.

ricoman

the st 1300 is a sweet ride
Britman's 155 is higher than any test reported top speed I could find.
It's faster than I care to go.

That's the speedo reading. As I hit it Kevin on a black (yeah-yeah) ST went by me.

Interesting engineering, but ugly enough to scare buzzards off a gut wagon.
