The last opportunity to see Texas Raiders fly this year will be on Saturday November 2.   If you want to do something special that day, the particulars are below. Tours of the airplane will be available, conducted by crew members.  Admission for a tour of the airplane is $5 for adults and $3 for kids.  Based on the schedule for tours and flights, I'd recommend arriving at the field around noon. Tours will stop at 1:00, and the plane will fly at 2:00. Of course we are selling rides, too. If anybody wants the once-in-a-lifetime experience of flying in a B-17, rides are $425 for a 30 minute flight, by reservation only. Call 855-FLY-A-B17 for a flight reservation.

Let us know if you'll be there!

You seem to enjoy promoting this. Thats a good thing. It nice for folks to see these things and know that 10 men [ young men] made up the crew and that we fought a war with these critters.

F Y I.....  That was NOT a CAF  plane that went down today.  It was a Galveston plane, not related to the CAF.

Afterthought.... I had won a ride on it a couple weeks ago at a warbird gathering.  Was scheduled to fly late November.  ( Whew) !!!!

If they are local or close.  Have them stop by where ever we are and I will give them a tour.

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, it IS enjoyable to be able to work and fly on this fantastic bird.  It is AWSOME.
