In our universe, and it must be noted that time travel is yet beyond human capability, the Tea Party came into existence in 2004. http://www.teaparty.org/about-us/  The Tea Party has railed, from the start, against runaway spending and debt. At the time, in this particular universe, George W. Bush was the President of the United States.

Now, of course, this is in our universe and supported by logic and facts. Other universes apparently may vary.

So you're saying the TEA Party hates white people?   :2funny:  I couldn't resist.

That is my point skinhead.  That NO TEA PARTY popped up to oppose the rampant overspending of the Bush administration.  So the TEA PARTY is obviously not about fiscal responsibility.  The TEA PARTY arose in response to a black man being president.  If they were concerned about fiscal responsibility they would have been a TEA PARTY that was opposed to out of control spending.  If they were about protecting the Constitution, they would have risen up as a TEA PARTY to oppose the suspension of Habeas Corpus, The Patriot Act, and the NSA snooping on our calls.  Did they?  No they didn't.  The Koch Brothers weren't financing them for that.

I find it an interesting paradox that the Republican Party claims to be interested in fiscal responsibility, and state's rights, and keeping the government small and out of peoples business, yet they borrow unprecedented amounts of money to expand government, and oppose the rights of states to legalize gay marriage.  They want the government involved in who we sleep with, who we marry, and what we do with our own bodies.  Doesn't really jibe with their claims does it?  Bush added 6 trillion in debt.  Do you think he was trying to destroy our country?  If not, then why do you think Obama is with his added 6 trillion?  Why do you not applaud the annual deficit being cut in half?  What if we don't even have an annual deficit by the time Obama is out of office, would you still be opposed to his fiscal policies?

the race cards is all tattered and worn, the corners are all torn off. but you still play it dontcha?  :cooldude:

If a conservative or libertarian says something, and there's no liberal around to correct them, are they still wrong?

When will you guys stop feeding the troll?

Are you glad you read any of his posts?

Do you enjoy the discussion?

Did you learn anything?

If a tree falls in the forest, and no one is there to hear it (or respond), does it make any noise?

Guilty....but they are all so cute! I wonder if they do tricks?

I think anyone who denies waterboarding is torture should have it done to them.

It amazes me that the people that argue that our military doesn't know what they are doing have never been in the military, heck, most of them have never had a real job, yet they presume to know what should and shouldn't happen on the modern battlefield.

Politicians should learn how to run the country (their job) before they try to do everyone else s job! They are worse at doing the job of our generals than they are at running the country and at that (their primary job) they really suck!

It doesn't really make any difference whether it was read or not. If it doesn't fit the agenda, it'll be ignored.
I doubt some folks know what torture is. To some it'll be taking away their cell phone.
