pretty cool alternative to a trike

Comparison of the landing gear ride Harley-Davidson vs. GOLDWING those that are physically  impaired or those of us who could be some day this might be an awesome way to go over a trike, and cheaper , and still able to do The Dragon.

There is one variation of that ( safe stop ) has been around for quite a few years, I have seen several of the older wings with them installed.

Just google motorcycle landing gear. 2 or 3 manufactures . That particular one is in Korea.

A nifty and probably  needed accessory for some, but definetly not cool. I would rather have a trike, JMHO. That being said, I can't afford a trike.  Hoser

I'd give up riding before having them on my bike, I would be a laughing stock round here with them fitted. Totally NOT cool...

Coolness is relative and becomes less critical as you age.  If I were handicapped and had the choice of looking cool or riding a 2 wheeler, I know which one I would pick.  Nothing against trikes, but they aren't as cool as 2 wheelers (from a riding standpoint).

A cousin of mine has a son (who is now in his 40s) who informed me about 30 years ago that I stopped being cool when I turned 23 (not sure if that was a rule or just an arbitrary stopping point for coolness-I wasn't cool enough to ask, much less cool enough to get an answer).

I took the Z-car up to the Talimena Scenic byway last weekend. Facebook Album.
I saw a lot of Can-Am Spyders. At least 10. I only saw two trikes. A sign of things to come?

ps. The wife said she enjoyed running the drive in the Z-car, but said she would rather we take the Valkyrie next time.  What a woman!

I'm not in favour of any kind of assisted riding, but my girlfriend has needed to
go the trike route for a number of reasons. She rides a Harley Fatboy motortrike
conversion.

Before she got the trike, she seriously considered what she calls Ghost Wheels.
Her sons talked her out of the idea, saying that the hydraulics could (potentially) fail.

I suppose if your legs or back can no longer do it, then cool takes a back seat.
