DFW Dinner Meeting in T minus 7 days

Last month, Love & War in Texas, Plano was suggested and lost out due to conflict with the RFK.

I had lunch at Quaker Steak & Lube in Plano this week and thought it might be a decent spot for a meeting. They have a meeting room and access seemed pretty easy off SH121.

Man Cave on steroids decor and claimed "Best Wings in the USA".

My youngest son is into the whole wilderness, backpacking, survivor thing.  I am repacking for the 10th time to get ready for a 20 mile hike with a 60 pound pack on my back tomorrow.  Looking to reduce every ounce I can so I can survive the weekend without the help of paramedics.  Besides I wouldn't want to pollute the purity of the VRCC by showing up on a non-Valk motorcycle, hehe.  Ya'll have fun.  C you all soon.

As Real Mex & I were discussing the other day, when we lived  in Phoenix, we would drive 200 miles north to Flagstaff to get to weather like this. Now all we halfta do is step onto the patio in order to enjoy Montana!
