Iron Pony had a 180/60ZR 16 rear and a 120/60R 17 in stock. I figure that those sport touring tires were a bargain at $298.38, and with 11.5" shocks I'll be able to ride my I/S again.

My condition has been deteriorating and lowering the bike and making the low speed steering a bit easier will allow me to ride it a little while longer.

I've always been one to experiment with my bikes. I don't give up just because my body doesn't work as well as it should.

ALWAYS QUESTION AUTHORITY!

97 Valk bobber, 98 Valk Rat Rod, 2K SuperValk, plus several other classic bikes

Wishing you all the best and hoping this works out for you. Let us know how those tires work out. Ride safe.
I just wanna Ride............:)  And hang out with all the cool Kids riding Motorcycles.

I have had a Conti Go 17" rear mounted backwards on the front wheel of my trike for the past year, and am happy with  both the wear and handling. Glad you are finding ways to make it work for you, George. See you on the road!
