Got back from the fly wheelers ride yesterday, wife informed me pump sounded funny. Was not funny, sounds like a bunch of nuts rolling around in a can. So starting to replace the pump and pressure tank, I guess they were due, both over 30 years old. I can think of lots of stuff I would rather do. :tickedoff:

Life is like a hot bath. It feels good while you're in it, but the longer you stay in, the more wrinkled you get.

Well dang Bill. Does that make 3 things now? Washing machine, pump, and wasn't there something else? So now your done!!  :cooldude: At least you know how to fix it your self. Pressure tanks are a little pricey too I see. I know our 50 gallon at HD is almost $300. At least it sounds like you guys had a good time at the tractor event (I read James III's post). Beautiful riding weather right now.
I still miss her.

Pricey is right, tank and pump were almost $800. The old one still works, but making one heck of a racket, I think the impeller is coming apart, I rebuilt it 20 years ago, bearings seals etc, just too old to repair it again.
