Darn.....It happened again and I......

blew it......I took the Fat Girl for a ride around town to get a late lunch...just to slosh the fluids around a little.....rode by a few places that were too crowded with the after church folks, so I found a burger place I go to from time to time....as I was leaving the building, I spotted an older lady doing a walk around the bike..slowly and carefully checking it out......She looked up at me just as she completed a 360 of the bike and asked if it was mine......Yes M'am......."That's a beautiful bike!!"......I told her "Thanks"....and that was that......she didn't ask me what it was(had my armored mesh Honda Joe Rocket jacket on).....I was too busy thinking about maybe riding a little further out into the country for a DQ ice cream.......I should have been more engaging and asked her if she were a rider or not........ .....oh well, it won't be the last time she turns a head or two......
