Missed the news about Solo 1 - Wayne, you're famous!

It was probably noted here a few weeks ago and I missed it - so I'm sorry if this is old news to everyone else here.  But I was just got around to reading my November issue of  American Motorcyclist Magazine.  And what did I see on the inside back cover?

Hey Wayne.  Congratulations!  Another great story from a great guy.  You're famous now!

I'm proud to know you and I'm glad your part of our VRCC world.  You're 86 already???? Seems like I was just at your 80th birthday party.

Every time I see a Mazda Miata, I remember the ride you and I took on the golf course and it always makes me smile!

The story had a small mistake.  I won't be 86 until next April.

Everytime that I see a Miata, it also reminds me of our ride.  Remember when we got to the restaurant parking lot and the lady that steered us in the wrong direction said. "'YOU drove a Miata across the golf cart bridge?"   And I said "Well. yeah!"    Funny, especially when the Schmidt's said that they expected Valks to ride on the golf cart path but didn't expect Solo1 to do it.  Hah!.........Calender age is not always indicative of actual age.
