Loose Moose Saloon.....(local bar)   $1.00  1/2lb burgers every Tuesday and Beer specials as well.    Might not be the best ever, but it's the best burger for the price guaranteed.

I have seen pictures of Timber & Chilies ride in. They sure look to be big with all the fixings. But I know that someone from Texas is going to chime in. Every thing is bigger in Texas they say.
And as i shifted into 5th I couldn't remember a thing she said.

they are very popular in SW, starting in CA.  and their "secret menu".  triple, triple animal style, or other variations.  I had friends from London that wanted to go there shortly after arrival.  calorie and fat packed, but tasty.

but a little strange, my favorite is a seafood restaurant close to me, Pacifica.  The best around.

There is a bar, in ocean city Md called, "JC's northside pub". They have a burger called, "triple bypass". It is 1/2 lb. Burger with cheese, a1/4 lb. Hotdog cut in half and stacked, 6 pcs. Of bacon, fried onions, lettuce topped with very thick chili and smothered in cheddar cheese. The cheddar is shredded, not a cheese sauce. What an awesome burger. Fries are home cut and fried or home made kettlecooked tater chips. Both are extremely good.

There is a Bowling Alley in Ida Groce, IA that makes one hell of a burger.

My friendly John Deere dealer introduced me to it.

It is closer to Moonshot_1 aka Mike, than to me.

It is like 147 miles from me.

Mike is 31 miles away.

The Spot in Kenosha, WI.  If you're visiting, passing through - take a detour over to 75th st & 30th ave.  Old fashioned drive-up with carhops.  Outstanding burgers.

+1 on Five Guys, not the best, but very good.  Fries are excellant.

Also not the best, but very good for fast food is the Wendy's Bacon Pretzel burger.

I have a saying about burgers, beer, and women.  They are all good, some are just better than others.

Mike stop at Hultgren John Deere on the West edge of town and ask for Tom Gray.

Tell him I told you he would treat ya to a burger at the bowling alley.   :cooldude:

Tom used to ride a Valkyrie and now rides a Harley.    Had to go smaller so his wife could ride it.   Anyway that is what he told me.

The "Back 40" in Klamath Falls, OR make a great bacon/cheese burger.  Eat there when ever I can.  Half pound plus of meat and 5 slices of bacon.

There was a small place in Silver Lake, or.  They also made a great burger, but they closed  >:(   I uses to stop there when I was out that way for lunch (no other place for 60 miles).

or try the Heart Attack Grill in Las Vegas.  Over 350 lb, eat for free.

Your personal nurse (waitress) "spanks" you if you do not finish your burger and they wheel you to your car in wheelchair if you finsh the triple or quadruple bypass.  a daily patron had apparent heart attack at bus stop in front of restaurant in feb 2013.

The Quadruple Bypass Burger with 9,982 calories (41.76 MJ) has been identified as one of the "world's worst junk foods". It consists of four half-pound beef patties, twenty strips of bacon, eight slices of American cheese, a whole tomato and half an onion served in a bun coated with lard.

My # 2 son used to live in Bend, OR and there was a place there he used to praise.

Problem is, I don't remember the name of it.

And he is currently in Heaven or Hell.    He really qualified for either or both.   RIP Mike, you were something else, but damn you could score high on dives, and hit the water with very little splash.

He didn't really straighten up till he got a full ride from the Uiv. of Alaska.   He was a diving champion in high school.   He still holds a couple of records up there I have been told.

Theres just something about lard.

Fuddruckers.  You can watch them cut off a chunk of the cow they have hanging, then put the meat in the grinder, then seasoned and put on the grill.  You add your own condiments.

I prefer "Steak and Shake" for a quick lunch.
Chilis "Oldtimer" is a darn good burger, and their fries aren't bad either. JMHO

But in Dearborn, MI we have the world reknowned "Millers Bar". All they serve is burgers with or without cheese and fries. Canned pop and bottled beer is available for your thirst quenching.
Simple as that!!!
