Interesting.

I was in the sixth grade when that fateful day in history unfolded. I remember being gathered at an assembly at school to be told what had happened. School was let out early. I recall watching all the ensuing events take place watching B/W tv. I didn't know enough about music at that age to realize the significance of a missed note (emotion or otherwise) from a trumpet. Perty cool the way it went down in history.

With that memory jog I remembered. Nov. 63 J F K killed. I was at work when we were informed. They let us go early and we had the day of the funeral off. Feb. 64 I joined the U S Navy. Your wife's uncle did the very best he could given the circumstances. I can't help but wonder what kind of world we would have had today had he not been killed??
