Pappy!

Just wondering if there is a pre printed list of stuff needed for routine drive servicing?
I have 20,000 on her now and supposedly the drive was serviced around the 4,000 mile mark when tires were changed out.
Yep....past due.

Just the three O-rings. Go to shop talk and find rear end maint the #s are listed there and they are good #s. Carolina Bike and Trike has a package of 15-5 each of the sizes we need and use more reasonable than the dealer or H D L.  When I go to my dealer they don't have them in stock and they have to order them. When you put it back together follow the assembly sequence and torqueing sequence EXACTLY. And get a thrust washer or two just in case. RIDE SAFE.

I'm adding a new drive shaft oil seal to my list of items to have on hand during final drive maintenance...I think a lot of pinion cup failures are somehow related to re-using a bad seal that allows water to get into the cup.

:cooldude: THAT right there is the WHY of having more than 1 or 2 heads on any given problem. RIDE SAFE.

I have the recommended grease for the job. Also have the three O-rings. Will get more.
What is the other seal mentioned?

You may want to go to the double row bearing mod while in there.  Bill (Grumpy) has the info you need for that and sells an adapter for it.
