Riders,

Can anyone tell me if the Valkyrie Interstate Saddlebags (brackets and all) will fit on a Standard model? Looking at buying Interstate bags and just want to make sure everything fits properly.

Thanks in advance for the info!

Yes, same mounting system and only a slight difference in the bags. The I/S bags don't have the seam down the back...they're not a two piece construction like the early Tourer bags. For what it's worth, I just mounted an I/S trunk and saddlebags on a friend's Std., absolutely no trouble with the bags. I'm glad I don't have to paint them to match.  ;D

Hey John, looks like a fine installation! Being partial to the yellow/white paint, that bike is really going to look extra sharp with the additions scheme matched.

Yes, they will fit.
I did my Standard to a Tourer using Interstate bags to clear my seat rail.
If you can't be a good example: be a WARNING!!

Took about 3 years and a bunch of $$ to figure out I shoulda' just bought an Interstate, but I never really wanted the fairing and electronics. This is the bike I wanted, and now it's the way I want it!

You can never be lost if you don't care where you're going!

Looks good.  But needs lots of paint matching that I can see.  :)
