Winter be cursed!

It was a balmy 7 degrees Celsius here yesterday in the Niagara Region (about 44 Farenheit) and sunny. So it was time to get the fat girl out of the garage and out for a ride for the first time since our blast of cold weather the past couple weeks. Bundled up in the chaps and jacket and went for a good 60 mile ride. I refuse to let winter get the best of me. Supposed to be up around 12 (54) tomorrow between rain fall. If I can dodge the drops, I'll be out and riding again. Hopefully there will be  a few of those weather breaks all winter to allow me to get out on her. You lucky, warm weather bastards, ridin' year round. We have to take what we're given up here in the north

There is a friday the 13th ride somewhere in SW Ontario that my friend Chrome
always seems to go to that draws lots of bikes.  You ever ride to it?

Hey Oss! I'm in the Niagara Region Ontario, Canada side. Yep! Every Friday the 13th is the Port Dover bike run. Port Dover is a pretty little town on the Lake Erie shoreline south of Hamilton and London (for those not sure) and I was at the last one in September. There were thousands of bikes and people. It's crazy, but fun, every time. It all got started by a couple of guys many years ago, and as word spread it got bigger and bigger. I would highly recommend it to anyone near the area (or trailer park it) especially during a warm 13th as the events now cover the entire weekend. This December doesn't look promising, with temperatures around or under the freezing mark with a possibility of some snow, but there will be some hardy souls still making the ride into Dover. Not me, tho. *lol* I'm close enough that I can always make the decent weather ones without having to get the Auto Club to pick up the bike due to snowfall (and that has happened before to those who have ventured out at this time of the year to be there)
