we headed up for my wife's doctors appointment today, on the way up I-75 we saw a motorcycle towing a canoe or a kayak. very cool....  (now it's motorcycle related)

while we were waiting the TV was on the history channel and some show was on about ancient eqypt, particularly the burial rituals. how they were accompanied into the next world by servants and taxidermied animals. and they said I qoute "including alligators"

that perked me and the wife up, did they cross the atlantic and snag some gators? or were they mistaken and meant crocs?

  My cousin lives on a large lake on a big family compound in central FL and sent this pic a few weeks ago.

A few years ago,(1986 I believe ), my neighbours son killed a 5 foot alligator in the creek running into the Tennessee river. the only thing we could figure was that someone let one of those cute little pets alligators go from a trip to Florida. Remember when you could buy pet alligators?

Don't know much about alligators or crocs, except alligators prefer fresh water and crocs salt.
But, the main thing I do know is that alligator makes for some good jambalaya !
