Inzane location

Well what's new on the 2014 Inzane location? Just trying to figure out my budget for 2014 rides. Hope the hotel isn't to expensive. Looking forward to all the rides coming up in 2014!! Does anyone have dates for there rides yet?

In truth, GOTF is not April 1st, but the 4th and 5th of April.  It will be held not in Galveston, but in Friendswood, Texas.

Hard to know when one ends and the other starts.  Kinda like that in the whole area.  Years ago I traversed the whole area from the beach clear to Conroe on I-45.  Almost 100 miles across to get out of the metropoliton area.  It's bigger now.  Everything's big in Texas. Probably earlier in your "career" when you were there, you probably were not sober much off base!  LOL

Santa, I really do feel your pain, but the people who are trying very hard to arrange that are having some troubles getting cooperation from the other end.  Some hotel representative is at this point in a position to step up and make himself stand out in the crowd.  None are quite yet ready to make that move.

I truly am hoping we can move forward soon, both on a location and a time.

But wherever it is I will have a good time and there will be some good riding in the area.

Ah yes THAT do bring back memories of a carnal sort-Westpac widow. See them all dressed so fine waving the ship off and wouldn't be out of sight and them fine ladies would be at the club and VERY available. Yup young and dumb and got laid a lot.  Course I saw the flip side of the problem-my first Westpac had an honest to GOD straight arrow Christian man and I was behind him when we went down the enlisted gang plank and he literally puked-his wife was 6 months along-he'd been gone for 10 months HAD NOT been back to Conus in 10 months and I remember it like it was yesterday-Bitch-i'll see you in divorce court!! Next cruise he was one of the larger whore hounds. RIDE SAFE.

Hmmm...Westpac Widow? That must be somewhat like the TDY (Temporary Duty "Yonder"  ) honeys that hung around the local attractions. Once the Wing came back, usually about 90 days, they all disappeared. Some of those gals(wives) made a ton of money during those 90 day separations. Guys would come home to a new car in the drive, or completely remodeled home inside.

Outside of Loring AFB in northern Maine there was a spot where they liked to hang out called The Outpost. Good food, usually a good band with a screen in front like the band in the movie Roadhouse. It would get a bit wild about 9:00pm, most of the GI's were pretty well oiled by then and we would leave. There were large ceiling fans hanging about 10' up and some guy would start by throwing an empty up into the blades, just to see how far it would go. Once in a while one would go clear across the dance floor and hit someone....followed by a fight. Time to leave.
