I should have added in my original post....we had a kid from Brooklyn working in our office a few years before I retired. When we first brought him online, I suggested he not be one to answer the phone but it was ignored....at first. Finally, after a few dozen calls where the caller stated they didn't understand a word he said, the boss moved him to a different assignment. Heck, half the office couldn't understand some of his conversation, I thought it was hilarious. His assessment of the situation; he said "it sounded like all 'da sudd'ners was gon' fall 'sleep halfway tru 'dere sence(sentence)."  Contrary to my last sentence, he was a near perfect penman. Seldom made grammatical or spelling errors, sure glad he didn't write the way he talked, my job would have been impossible.
