 who gives a sh!t?  I always liked him in the books and movies.

I suppose, why not?  the new show 'elementary' has sherlock holmes as a recovering junkie. when I read the books by Doyle I was a bit put off when I read 'the seven percent solution' cause I found out holmes was shooting up a seven percent solution of herion when the "game wasn't afoot" I was shocked.

You guys dont remember when smoking went out and the gov was pushing new non smoking guide lines how all the ads went from couples enjoying smoking and sexy women smoking to the ads with people with no voice box? Maybe some have already been brainwashed by the media. Its the typical way to program people or some say educate to a particular social action.

For those who say its not a program thing maybe you should be a bit more aware of social programing and how its done. Sometimes behavior is changed not with a gun or a punch but with a simple ad. Herd mentality this is how they are changing the gun mentality seemingly make it evil to own them.  Make a social sigma of it then let your neighbors patrol and do the dirty work since they will have already gotten on the no gun bandwagon. Its terrible that so many are sheep, that is how this administration has gotten away with so much fine Americans or sheep mentality. Be aware of what you look at be very aware and know that our brain stores images all images of our lives and what we see effects our hearts our attitudes and actions. Social brain washing Hitler used it againt the Jews. He did not have to police the people neighbors turned in the Jews, why , social brainwashing through ads. Even if you resist and dont do it when everyone starts to do it they all look at you and see you are different then say he's wrong or whats wrong with him. I say in order to gain acceptance you will rethink your position.

I made this a separate post because its important and something we dont often think about which is the subconscious mind. It registers everything and stores everything that's how Coke in years past got people to buy coke at movie theaters. Flashed a one frame sentence saying your thirsty for Coke. Sales went up. We for all our chest bashing are pretty simple and have to take safe guards on what we hear and what we see. That is why the Macy's parade and advertising and just what you see needs to be selected by yourself and not others. You guard the doors of your house well guard the doors of your heart and mind the eyes and the ears.

This sounds like government at its finest. Let's do a study to see if a fictional character, someone that doesn't exist, in a fictional story, something that didn't happen, is an alcoholic.
