I ruthlessly tease my northern brethren around this time of year...not really because they have to put their motorcycles away for the cold season (something like, August through June), but rather, because the day they roll their motorcycle into the shed, they aren't rolling something like this out.

My 26 hp John Deere does a good job for me.

From the time I walk out the door, fill the gas tank, grease a couple of zerts, fire it up and start on my 2 driveways and my sidewalk, 30 minutes or less, I'm back in the house.

No, I do not creep through the snow, I'm running full throttle and push the hydrp-stat to the speed I want.  Slow, or wide open.   If I hit a 3 or 4' drift in my back garage driveway, that slows me down a little bit.

No sledding, no snowball fights, no snow angels, no ice fishing, and they can't write their names in the snow with pee!
