You cannot do a kindness too soon, for you never know how soon it will be too late.

Man: God, can I ask You a question?
God: Sure
Man: Promise You won't get mad...
God: I promise
Man: Why did You let so much stuff happen to me
today?
God: What do you mean?
Man: Well, I woke up late
God: Yes
Man: My car took forever to start
God: Okay
Man:
At lunch they
made  my sandwich wrong & I had to wait
God: Hmmmm
Man: On the way home, my phone went DEAD, just as I picked up a call
God: All right
Man: And on top of it all, when I got home I just wanted to soak my
feet in my new foot massager & relax. But it wouldn't work!!! Nothing went right today! Why
did You do that?
God: Let me see, the death angel was at your bed this morning, & I had to send
one of My Angels to battle him for your life. I let you sleep through that
Man (humbled):  OH
GOD: I didn't let your car start because there was a drunk driver on
your route
that would have hit you if you were on the road.
Man: (ashamed)
God:The 1st person who made your sandwich today was sick,&I didn't
want you to get what he has,I knew you couldn't afford to miss work.
Man (embarrassed): Okay
God: Your phone went dead because the person who was calling was going to give
false witness about what you said on that call, I didn't even let you talk to
them so you would be covered.
Man (softly): I see God
God: Oh and that
foot massager, it had a short that was going to throw out all
of the power in your house tonight. I didn't think you wanted to be
in the dark.
Man: I'm Sorry God
God: Don't be sorry, just learn to Trust Me....in All things, the
Good & the bad.
Man: I will trust You.
God: And don't doubt that My plan for your day is always better than
your plan.
Man: I won't God. And let me just tell you God, thank you for
everything today.
God: You're welcome child. It was just another day being your
God and looking after My Children...

I'm sorry to disturb you! My name is God. You hardly have time for me.  I love
you and always bless you.  I am always with you.  I need you to spend 30 mins of
your time with Me
today. Don't pray. Just chat.
Today I want this message across the world before midnight. Will you help?
Please don't ignore it and I'll help you with something that you are in need of.
A blessing is coming your way. Tomorrow will be the Best Day of your Life.

One day I was riding in WV mountains.  The road was uphill, then down, then up again, etc.  On approaching the bottom of a long downhill, I could see the top of the next hill, but obviously not over it. Just as I got to the bottom, an indescribable feeling came over me.  Well, true fear.  I pulled over to the side and waited for the feeling to subside.  It took about as long as it would have taken for me to reach the top of the grade had I not stopped.  I looked toward the top of the hill ahead, and saw a tri-axle dump truck come over the crest, completely on my side of the road.  " So that's what it was about,"I thought.  I waited until the truck had passed where I was pulled off, and then proceeded, cautiously on my way.  On reaching the top I saw that the truck had been going too fast, and entered a negative camber turn, which had caused it to cross onto the oncoming side.  I knew then that my God was riding with me and watching out for me, and promised both of us that I would never ignore such a feeling if it happened again, and had an uneventful completion of my ride.  This, and other incidents during my life, taught me that the God of humanity does exist. And I must keep my mind open to that god no matter what.

I liked that and it took some time for me to realize just exactly that lesson. Two of my favorite scriptures I posted partially below. One where God asks Job a question and one where Jonah was upset at what he had to do and the Lord answered him. I cannot tell you how many times I feel like I was in these positions yet the Lord was always loving and gracious to me. Its nice to hear I am not the only one that struggled with these things. Thanks  :cooldude: :cooldude: Since things just continue we take so much for granted.

Job 38:1  Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind and said,
Job 38:2  "Who is this that darkens counsel By words without knowledge?
Job 38:3  "Now gird up your loins like a man, And I will ask you, and you instruct Me!
Job 38:4  "Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? Tell Me, if you have understanding,
Job 38:5  Who set its measurements? Since you know. Or who stretched the line on it?

Jon 4:3  "Therefore now, O LORD, please take my life from me, for death is better to me than life."
Jon 4:4  The LORD said, "Do you have good reason to be angry?"
Jon 4:5  Then Jonah went out from the city and sat east of it. There he made a shelter for himself and sat under it in the shade until he could see what would happen in the city.
Jon 4:6  So the LORD God appointed a plant and it grew up over Jonah to be a shade over his head to deliver him from his discomfort. And Jonah was extremely happy about the plant.
Jon 4:7  But God appointed a worm when dawn came the next day and it attacked the plant and it withered.
Jon 4:8  When the sun came up God appointed a scorching east wind, and the sun beat down on Jonah's head so that he became faint and begged with all his soul to die, saying, "Death is better to me than life."
Jon 4:9  Then God said to Jonah, "Do you have good reason to be angry about the plant?" And he said, "I have good reason to be angry, even to death."
Jon 4:10  Then the LORD said, "You had compassion on the plant for which you did not work and which you did not cause to grow, which came up overnight and perished overnight.
Jon 4:11  "Should I not have compassion on Nineveh, the great city in which there are more than 120,000 persons who do not know the difference between their right and left hand, as well as many animals?"
"Some people see things that are and ask, Why? Some people dream of things that never were and ask, Why not? Some people have to go to work and don't have time for all that."

Since the Lord is directing our steps, why try to understand everything that happens along the way.
