At least she wants you warm and comfortable :cooldude:

I think she is saying, go sit on your ass, keep warm, and clean her bikes.  :cooldude:  ;D

Don't worry about it until you see a dog house, then you have a problem.

Suggestion re. that scooter stool. Go to Lowes and get some replacement casters made of rubber. I have two of those and the original castors didn't last a year but I like the stool. The Lowes parts are slightly larger and made of rubber, they roll over stuff easier. You'll need to replace the bolts also. I've had my stools nearly five years now, one for each side of the bike for when I'm working/polishing it. Looks like a great collection for the shop, enjoy!  :cooldude:

I love those heaters, they are a bit smelly and loud but they sure keep you warm. I built a tent around a 30 foot boat off the end of the garage and had one of those heaters it kept me nice and warm the whole time. I had a thermostat on mine and used to like when it switched on sounded like a jet engine taking off. I agree with Gavin she's a keeper. I dont know to many women who would know what that stuff even is.

i always got a splitting migraine when ever i used my kerosene heater that was just like that one.  tried several different types of kerosene heats and they were all the same.  went with a "bull dog" natural gas heater that has a chimney, works great!  i've got a switch in my house that i turn on to heat my shed to 70*, when it's off it'll stay at 35*, just warm enough so none of my paints or varnishes freeze.

Yup!

rainman, if your planning on using that heater for long periods of time, you might consider swapping it out for something that isn't quite so "Commercial".

I've used them many times at construction sites and what Robert & alph say is correct, they're loud and smelly.  Okay for construction jobs to take the chill out, but not to hang around for a period of time.  We always try to put them as far away from us as possible.

I like the stool, might have to look into one of them.

What great gifts "the wife" got for you, she is a keeper. :cooldude:
