Now I really am beginning to feel old. I have 17 grandchildren and there will be no more of them, my girls have informed me the factory is shutdown.  ;D  As for great grandkids, I already have eight and when chatting with my daughter #2 an hour ago, she informed me two of her daughters are expecting again. It will be #3 for one and #2 for the other....making ten great grandkids for me. I told my daughter to tell her girls that gramps said they need to find another hobby. They'll get a laugh out of it and will probably send me a teasing email of some sort. Both due this summer about six weeks apart.

I think I'm going to go lay down now, I suddenly feel very tired!  ;D

I think my grand kids are done, but oh has the litter started to reproduce.

In our Christmas card the oldest grandaughter told us she is expecting twins in July.

Her husband wasn't too happy cause they need both incomes to live.    They went way over their heads on a house 3 years ago.    It takes all of 2 of her paychecks for the mortgage payment.

Good John.  My boy and his family just had daughter #4 on 12/28.  4 girls now, 6 yo, 4, 2 and one week.  all great, but would not want to be dad of 4 girls.

Believe me Don, it's a lot of work but so very worth it in the end. I had four daughters, lost two to cancer but the other two are still very close. They're now 45 & 53. Now, when I see a young family with some little girls running around, giggling with excitement...the usual littl girl stuff, it brings back some fond memories of years gone by. Wouldn't trade it for the world. As they got older and started to blossom into young ladies, people would ask "didn't you have any boys?" My answer...."oh yes, I had more boys than I knew what to do with, and none were mine."  ;D

Congratulations on the new addition. We have 3 grands and time is well spent when we are with them. :cooldude:

Congratulations John! That kind of news is great to hear, and just what you need. You were very much missed at Bert & Sherrie's yesterday!
